We’re 20 days into the new year. That “New Year, New Me” energy you had on January 1st… is it still alive, or did it do an Irish goodbye at a party? Are the gyms still packed, or did everyone realize it’s cheaper to workout at home? Are you still organized, or is your planner crying in the corner because it’s been ignored since January 3rd?

Meanwhile, the world is still bat-shit crazy. Minnesota’s news makes you question humanity, ICE , shootings — it’s enough to make you hide under your blanket and binge-watch Netflix for a week straight. But we don’t. Why? Because we need to know who’s going to make it to the Super Bowl? That’s the real question. Forget humans being humans — we need to know who’s lifting the Lombardi Trophy.

Sports, movies, binge-watching our favorite shows — these are the duct tape holding society together. Without them, we’d actually have to pay attention to each other. Imagine that. Humanity, real life, emotions — terrifying stuff.

But let’s bring it back to you. New Year, New Me, New Mindset — how’s it going? Are you still on track with your progress?

Here’s my challenge: don’t just survive the chaos. Own it. Crush it. Laugh at it. Keep your resolutions, whatever they are, and don’t let the world, the news, or January laziness steal your vibe.

So, what’s your resolution? Drop a comment, let me know, and let’s see if we’re actually serious this year — or if this is just another episode of “New Year, Same Me.”

Because here’s the truth, — discipline, laughter, and football: the only things keeping you sane while the world burns.

Happy New Year! 🎉🍾
