Some hecklers show up drunk.
These guys showed up looking for a fight — and couldn’t handle the smoke when they got it.

From the jump, this father-and-son duo were a problem. Slamming drinks, talking over everyone, and heckling like it was their job. First, they went after our host, Gavin Myers. He shut them down with sharp comebacks and didn’t give them an inch. Then they tried Joe Mendonza, the feature act. Joe handled it like a pro and made them look foolish — and they hated every second of it.

By the time I got on stage, they were fuming. The crowd was having a great time. The comics were killing. But those two? They couldn’t take the fact that the spotlight wasn’t on them — and worse, that every time they opened their mouths, we shut them down.

So what did they do?

The dad kept heckling. Louder. Sloppier. More bitter. And the son? In a twisted attempt to "one-up" the night, he pulled down his pants and flashed me right in the middle of my set.

Let that sink in.

The room froze. I was stunned. But I had a choice: either let them ruin the night or turn it into something unforgettable. I chose the latter.

After the chaos, Jason Currier, Joe Mendonza, and I sat down for an interview to break it all down — the madness, how we handled it, and how easily it could’ve gone off the rails.

Big love to Joe for standing ready to throw down if needed, and to Gavin for keeping the ship steady and protecting the show from total collapse.
